Owner/Creater of 3S Yoga
Originally from Roanoke, VA, but always ready to explore Nadeya decided to go to school at NYU. She ended up in Los Angeles for 11 years where she studied yoga under Tamal Dodge at Yoga Salt and continued her training with Tamal in Costa Rica. She is a 500hr-RYT.
Missing the beauty, people and life in Virginia, she was ready to come back! It has been her pleasure to bring her energetic vinyasa as well as her 3S class to Richmond. She couldn't ask for a better community.
Kate Ainsworth, DPT, Cert DN, E-RYT 500, YACEP is a physical therapist and experienced Kripalu yoga and mindfulness instructor. Her classes integrate the evidence-based principles of Western anatomy, physiology, and movement science with the teachings of yoga and Ayurveda to facilitate healing and wellness for the mind, body, and soul. Kate uses creative sequences to allow students to explore what it means to build heat, to breathe fully, and to let go. Through the use of pranayama (breathwork) and meditation, she also provides space for students to discover and nurture their own source of innate peace and joy.
When she is not teaching yoga, Kate works as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist. She is also studying for her 1000-Hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher certification with an emphasis on Ayurveda, one of the oldest holistic healing sciences. When she is not working or practicing yoga, Kate can be found outdoors adventuring with her sweet pup, Bubba, dancing in the rain, and backpacking around the globe.
Alexza has been an avid student of holistic living and health and fitness for over 25 years. After she received her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification from Samadhi Yoga Institute in 2004, and taught her first vinyasa classes on her roof deck at sunset. Other employers during her time in NYC were London Terrace, The Yoga Room, David Barton Gym as well as a roster of upper east and west-side private clients.
She also enjoyed a three month teaching stint at Samasati yoga retreat in Costa Rica, where she was featured in an article by a Dutch yoga magazine, as well as recruited for a Canadian television show featuring yoga and travel. Alexza’s area of expertise in teaching utilizes a combination of Vinyasa, Hatha, and Anusara yoga. She weaves her knowledge of meditation, nutrition, energetic healing principles, music and universal love into her classes.
Megan has been an avid Yoga student for 10 years. She received her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification from Om On Yoga in Richmond, VA.
